I've just had a quick look at Google Trends. I'm a bit of graphs man, so its been fun playing around with various phrases. Not surprisingly I tried Ajax. This revealed from the graph that there has been a growing interest since the early part of 2005 - which we would expect, but the news points would suggest most of this was to do with football, which I think misses the mark a little! But it did get me thinking that something like the Wikipedia Disambiguation term resolver would be useful (like this one for web). In the case of Google Trends perhaps as another filter in the top right. Has anyone come across this sort of resolver in any of the public search engines?
